Mother’s Day is our Queen’s Day!

Mother’s love for her child certainly cannot be compared with anything. Her level of forgiveness is unmatchable. A mother is capable of forgiving of any wrongdoing. A mother is certainly the most important human being in everyone’s life. A special day is celebrated every year to show honor, love, respect and admiration towards all the mothers all over the world. This celebration is called “Mother’s Day”.

I owe my fifteen years of my life to my

mother. She is my best and truest friend, my companion, my ally, my first love and my world. She has always been there for me, cheering me up, supporting my decisions in life and guiding me throughout my journey. Even if she’s miles away from me, still, she didn’t miss showing her love and support for me. She always calls me through messenger. I’m very thankful to my mother. I think celebrating “Mother’s Day” should be a must because we received a lot of love and support from them. They are more than deserve to have this special day.

Mother’s Day is celebrated annually on second Sunday of May to remember and honor the motherhood and is observed in different forms throughout the world. This year’s Mother’s Day was celebrated on May 9.

Since we are experiencing COVID-19 crisis, this year’s Mother’s Day was celebrated at home. In that day, family members presented various gifts to mothers, different gimmicks or surprises were done to make mothers feel special and some people greeted their mothers through phone calls just like me, since my mom is in Hong Kong.

A special day is dedicated to our mothers. That doesn’t mean that you will only show your love and respect to them on that day. Show your love to your mother every day. Make them feel special. Acknowledge their efforts to us. Always be thankful to them. Make Mother’s Day extra special. Treat all mothers as queens because they are indeed QUEENS.

        The Earth is slowly changing. Some animals are already extinct and some are at risk of being extinct. The forests are destroyed and slowly decreasing. The temperature is rising. Climate change is already happening in our world.          Global warming is the increase of average world temperatures as a result of what is known as the greenhouse effect.          Students are used of face-to-face learning. Because of COVID-19, students suddenly experienced a new normal learning which is modular learning or online classes. As a student who is used to the face-to-face learning, I can say that it is really hard for me to adapt the new normal learning in the first day or week of this school year. But I learned and discovered that I have the ability to understand the lesson by myself. I learned to manage my time in answering all of my modules. But I still encounter problems and challenges.          I admit that I was easily distracted because of the noises I hear in my surroundings.
